HI

Just wanted to say hi so you wouldn't think I was gone forever and quit checking! Nothing exciting happening around here. I've started to pull out long sleeves and light sweaters! It's been in the 30s the past couple mornings when we woke up. The temperature about doubles during the day, but it's still a bit cool for my poor skinny, cold natured self! It's nice though. It's always exciting when you can smell Fall and you start seeing colored leaves and pumpkins everywhere! Makes me want to learn how to make an apple pie - I think I have a recipe. . . But, for now I have my favorite old sweatshirt, cappuccino, homemade toast, and Mama's apple butter to keep me warm. What more could I ask for?

Boo, hoo, hoo - I'm crying here now. I miss fall the most of all!! A couple of mornings lately, when we have woke up there has been almost an autumn sun out to where when you look out the window you believe it could be just a little chilly out, then you walk outide and nope - it's 88 out. I can handle the warmness for the Christmas season almost better than no fall at all!

Yep, Beck beat me to the punch, no long sleeves here, no siree! :-) I was just thinking how nice a couple of hours on the beach might be, if only it weren' so hot and sticky!

Is my "country disliking" sister being converted? ;) I LOVE Brad Paisley's music and have all 4 of his CD's (plus a Christmas CD) so I know most of his singles before they are even released to radio. Aren't those great songs? (the 2 you have on your playlist)

Well, I've discovered that there is more that "hick country"! I still have a hard time with that, but Josh Turner and Brad Paisley haven't been around that long.

It's typically called country western or bluegrass and I totally agree with you on your opinion of it. Some of the older country singers today gripe about "getting away from country roots" but it is much more "listenable". I like some of the very southern, countryish songs to but not with a twang. :)
