Happy Birthday to. . .

ME!!
Yep! As of somewhere around 8:30 this morning I'm the big 21 and I'm here to tell you it's not all it's cracked up to be. . . :-) I've already been asked if I feel older. The sad truth is that I've felt old-er since November 21 (refer to older posts for details)! The good news is that since my first meeting with the good Dr. of Chiropractic a few weeks ago, I am feeling pretty well back to my normal young self! Now I know you are all wondering what the big plans are. Well as a matter of fact, not much of anything. Last night, SUNY Potsdam hosted the Army Field Band and Soldier's Chorus from Washington D.C. for a great concert. We (Jon and I, My parents, Bud, Joy and a friend) all went to that and had a good time (unfortunately the only proof I have is a ticket stub and a program - yeah I am so angry with myself for forgetting my camera yet again!). Today, I'm just enjoying doing whatever I feel like doing (some necessary things, some lazy nonsense). Tonight, I opted for a family dinner of my choice because I really don't feel like going out anywhere. So the menu for tonight's b-day dinner is (drum roll please. . .) Philly cheese steak sandwiches, cheesy potato perogies (sp?), cheddar & sour cream ruffles, and whatever dessert my husband and mom deem necessary (I'm not picky as long as it involves peanut butter. It'll be a surprise!). Later on the guys have to go do an after hours job, so don't tell them, but Joy, my mom, and I have big "girl" plans! Chic Flick and Mani/Pedi anyone?!? So that's the scoop for now and my laptop battery is low and I don't feel like plugging it in, so. . . Ta-ta for now! Leah

Happy Birthday Leah. It is a little strange for me to see you so grown up. My memories of you are of a little girl. I can't believe you are 21 already. I feel old!
I can sympathize with you about the chiropractor. I LOVE mine. I was suffering from severe migraines and neck and back pain. He has totally gotten rid of my migraines and my back feels much better.

Hi Leah - that's a cute picture! You don't look a day over 21 :-). No, actually you look younger than that - 18 again? Love, Mern
