FINALly done!!

To make a very long story short, I was supposed to finish this class Wednesday and start the next Thursday, but because the school web site was down a couple days, they extended the due dates of this and the next class a few days. I was doing just fine with my assignments in spite of the site down time, but then I got sick and was VERY relieved to have the due dates extended! Anyway, for this class we were assigned our own clients (each of us had a different client), told a little about them and where they live, and given the floor plan for a gutted condo. We all worked with the same floor plan but different client needs. As I posted before, we took the basic floor plan and developed it into a finished plan (with a lot of steps between) and then we had to choose all the furniture, fabrics, and finishing materials (walls, floors, etc.). For our final project, we had to kind of put everything together with a written presentation and display board. Of course each step is really about 3 steps because each one we work on and submit for critique, tweak a little and submit for critique, do a little more tweaking and submit for a grade (and unfortunately sometimes re-submit with corrections). So all that to say that this whole class has been working toward our final project AND the whole thing has been quite a process!! It wasn't even one of the "hard" classes, but I'm still VERY happy to be done finally! Here is the most interesting part of my final project. I couldn't do all this work and not show it off! :-)
