Friday night at YFC

First of all, let me say that I am sooo proud of myself. Turns out that since I got this new fangled tiny camera, I have actually been taking more pictures because I just always have my camera in my purse! Anyway, now that we have that important information noted. . . Friday night the 9 a.m. worship "band" that Jon and Andrew play in at church, played for a Seaway Youth for Christ event. We took Joy along for a new experience. The YFC has this great old church building that they have converted into a very teen friendly gathering place with seating and a platform as well as ping-pong and other table games. Downstairs is a little kitchenette and office. The kids gathered in and played games for just a few minutes before the "band" played and did a little devotional. We were there quite a bit early for set up and last minute practice. After, the kids snacked and played more, but since it was our first time and we hadn't really known what to plan for, we didn't hang around too long after. In stead, we went for some supper at Pizza Hut. Sooo. . . Here are some pictures - some while the guys were setting up and everything and some during the actual thing.
Killing time before the fun began
The real deal

Okay, I know I'm a retard but I'm scrolling down through your post and there's the picture of you and Tandy and then it says, "the real deal" and I was trying to figure out why you and Tandy were the real deal. And then of course I saw the next picture and figured it out and I giggled and giggled at myself.
Also, this might sound strange but it seems like the older all we girls get the more alike we look. I had to look at the picture of you and Joy a minute for my brain to register who I was looking at. I was seeing Rachel in you and a mixture of us in Joy's face.
